Miratorg upped its production of combination feed in the first nine months of 2016 by 13%, totalling 1.1M tonnes.
Belgorod, 10th October. Miratorg, Russia's leading producers of combination animal feeds, upped its production of combined feeds over the first nine months of 2016 by 13% by year-on-year comparison with 2015, to total 1.1 million tonnes.
Miratorg is actively developing its combined animal feeds division, in accordance with its overall strategy to increase its production of main meat types – poultry, pork, and beef. Combination feeds are produced by the company at three plants in the Belgorod Region and one in Bryansk Region, which have a combined annual output capacity of 1.66 tonnes – which fully covers the Holding's entire feed needs, and which make up around 70% of the net costs of the end product.
Miratorg's first combination feed plant, located in the Ivnyansk District, went into production in 2007 – while the fourth, in Bryansk Region, began production in 2014. Each of the plants is certified to international ISO standards, and equipped with latest-generation contemporary machinery – which, in parallel with high levels of automation, offers a highly efficient operation. Care for the surrounding environment is managed with the use of dust-preventive systems and local filtration equipment – a completely closed system which does not allow any leaching into the outside environment.
Aleksey Kirsanov, Managing Director of Miratorg division in Belgorod, said; “Today our production of combination feeds 100% covers the feed requirements of the Miratorg operation. We're planning to continue expansion of our combination feeds, whilst simultaneously boosting their quality and cutting their costs of production.”
