Grow features

It is a perennial loose grass of spring type of development with erect, smooth, glabrous, well-leafed stems up to 65 cm high, with a large number of basal leaves. The leaves are bare, slightly rough on top; the ligule is short – up to 1 mm long. The inflorescence is an ear 15 to 25 cm long. A standing, semi-wide bush, dense in the second year of life. The stem is cylindrical, smooth, without pubescence, soft before flowering, growing up to 54 cm. The linear drooping leaf is without pubescence and wax coating, soft, green in colour. The foliage to the 1st cut is 67 to 73%. It is suitable for three-cut haymaking or four-time grazing in the Non-chernozem zone.
