This follows from the rating of the top 500 FMCG brands prepared by the research company NTech. When compiling the rating, the company's specialists analyzed the status of 15 thousand trademarks, the total sales of which exceeded 5.2 trillion in 2023. rubles'. At the end of 2023, Miratorg rose from 2nd to 1st place, gaining 9900 points. The Lays chip brand moved from 3rd to 2nd place with a score of 9662. On the 3rd place is the trademark of dairy products "Prostokvashino" (8801 points).

NTech-500 is the first rating in Russia, which analyzed sales in 22 categories, including products from meat, fish and dairy products, plant alternatives, feed, etc. The rating reflects the consumer habits of buyers in the Russian market.The NTech study did not take into account the retailers' own trademarks, as well as alcohol and tobacco brands for ethical reasons (including these categories would give an irrelevant idea of the shopping basket from the point of view of manufacturers' trademarks). The rating score is the ratio of brand sales to the total sales of the 22 categories studied, which together make up the main shelf of the refrigerator (GPH is a consumer basket model developed by NTech specialists).
