Today, vegetables are grown on an area of more than 4,000 hectares in the Tula, Bryansk, Oryol regions and Stavropol Territory in the open ground. Automatic watering is set up in the fields, and special sensors scan the soil and transmit information to agronomists about the humidity level. Vegetables grow in the most natural conditions and are harvested at the peak of maturity.
By the end of 2023, the volume of vegetable processing amounted to 52 thousand tons of products — 6% more than in 2022. The holding adheres to the strictest food safety standards, and modern solutions in the field of weighing and packaging equipment allow increasing production volumes, producing products of the highest quality, as well as reducing production costs.
The company systematically increases sales, expands the sales market and continues to invest in improving production efficiency, quality control and the release of new products. With the launch of the green bean and green pea processing plant in 2023, the range of our own frozen vegetable mixes and ready meals has increased. Already, the production of legumes covers the needs of the holding by 90%, allowing us to regularly develop new recipes and produce basic meals for a full meal. This year, the output of the new workshop will be increased to 6 thousand tons and the first batches of peas and string beans will be sold to other food enterprises in Russia and exported.
"We solve the problem of a high-quality, full-fledged and natural diet of people by offering solutions to save time on cooking. Today, the company produces not only meat products, but also pastries, cooking, drinks, and vegetables – raw, boiled, frozen, vitamin mixtures. This is not only a "borscht set", but also broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, zucchini, and now green peas and string beans.
In six years, it has been possible not only to create a full-cycle vegetable production, but also to expand the product line, distribute products, and open new product lines. It seemed incredible to start processing green peas and green beans. But Miratorg has once again proved that the impossible is possible. Vegetables that previously came from abroad are quite successfully grown by Tula agronomists. In the near future, the launch of a new line of frozen mixes and the production of a vinaigrette set are planned. We hope that the new products will appeal to customers and diversify their daily diet with healthy vegetables," the Miratorg press service commented.
