Miratorg achieved 85% availability of its own seed planting material for cereals and legumes and offered the best varieties of breeding to domestic farmers

At the Bottom of the field, Miratorg presented to agricultural producers the products of its productions — seed planting material of cereals and legumes. The production of wheat, spring barley, soybeans, corn for grain is concentrated in the company's fields in the Belgorod, Kursk, Orel, Tula regions and in the Stavropol Territory. In 2022, the total acreage of these crops amounted to 240 thousand hectares, and in 2023 — more than 300 thousand hectares, of which 33 thousand hectares are allocated for seed crops. The total production capacity of seeds of cereals and legumes is 73 thousand tons.

In the structure of Miratorg's acreage, winter and spring wheat occupy 35% of the total area of cereals and legumes. Also, a third is devoted to the cultivation of corn, which is used to fatten cattle. Miratorg allocates significant areas for soybean cultivation. The company has far-reaching plans for this universal culture, from which a wide variety of types of food products are obtained.

Miratorg enterprises have developed and implemented a quality control system that covers all stages of the production cycle, which makes it possible to exclude production and the ingress of a product with quality deviations to the consumer. Thanks to the presence of our own logistics company, optimal solutions for delivery to all regions of Russia have been worked out, including transportation of small volumes in the shortest possible time.

The agroholding pays great attention to breeding work in order to completely replace imported seeds with domestic ones in the crop rotation. For the same purpose, in August the company launches a breeding and seed production center in the Kursk region with a design capacity of 27.4 thousand tons per year. The work of the center will provide seeds not only for the needs of the holding, but also for Russian farmers, increasing the availability of high—quality seed material for cereals and legumes," the Miratorg press service commented.
