Miratorg increases milk production in Kursk region by 1.5 times to 6.6 thousand tons for 9 months

Kursk, November 9 –Miratorg, Russia largest investor in agriculture sector, reports a 51% increase of raw milk production to 6.6 thousand tons in January - September 2018.

The milk farm Blagodatenskaya was acquired by the Company in 2014 to become Miratorg infrastructure for calve growing and finishing. Miratorg has been steadily increasing milk production thanks both to enhancing of dairy cattle herd to 1 700 head and increasing operation efficiency.

The management and veterinary procedures implemented on the farm made it possible to increase the milk yield per dairy cow to 22.27 kg/day in January-September 2018, 25% more than last year.

For the first three quarters of 2018 the farm produced over 870 calves for  finishing and rose veal production.
