Miratorg increases production of high-quality beef by 32% to 108 thousand tons in 2018
Bryansk, January 11 – Miratorg, the largest investor into Russia’s agricultural industry, informs that the company increases production of high-quality beef by 32% to 108 thousand tons in live weight in 2018 versus 2017 year.
Miratorg has built from scratch the Europe’s largest vertically-integrated production of Aberdeen-Angus breed. The company operated 94 farms in Bryansk, Kaluga, Oryol, Smolensk, Tula and Kaliningrad regions with a total herd of over 600 thousand animals, two feedlots and a high-tech slaughtering and processing plant with the capacity of 150 thousand tons of products per year.
The company controls a whole technological cycle from breeding and raising livestock to deep processing according to all sanitary and veterinary standards and requirements. That helps to ensure the high quality of the final product. The slaughtering facility in Bryansk region complies with HACCP, ISO and Halal standards and is authorized to supply beef to the United Arab Emirates and Japan. Besides the company is regularly inspected by Russian and foreign regulatory authorities, retail chains, present and potential beef consumers and independent consumer inspectors.
