Miratorg invested 447 million rubles to increase the production capacity of ready meals plant in Bryansk Oblast

Agribusiness Holding Miratorg, the leading food producer in Russia has invested.
447 million rubles to increase the capacity of the line for processing other meat products of the complex for cattle slaughter and processing in Bryansk Oblast. Thanks to the modernization, the blini (thin crepes) production site will increase its output by 9 thousand kilograms per day.
Expansion of the plant’s capacity is due to the rising demand for high-quality ready products from corporate customers and in retail market. Two additional lines allow producing not only blini with various fillings, but also oladyi (thick pancakes) and pancakes. Special dispensers and equipment have been installed for this purpose.
The company launched the production of ready meals in 2019. This project with the cost of 5.4 billion rubles has become a logical complement to the existing fully integrated production. A cluster for slaughter and deep processing of cattle, the largest in Russia and an automated poultry meat production complex are located within walking distance of the plant.
Basic raw materials are supplied to the plant from neighboring production facilities, that’s why the ingredients come in chilled condition, not frozen, which has an effect on the quality and healthiness of the final product.
The aim of the establishing the plant was not only to expand the line of high-quality ready meals but also to maximize the use of available raw materials. For example, a deep processing of bones is carried out at the plant. It is the main ingredient for broths. On their base technologists designed a line of original hot sauces: carbonara, bolognaise, mushroom and demi-glace sauces, which were previously cooked manually only in professional kitchens. The plant produces ready soups on the base of broths. Vegetables for their production come from fields of Tula Oblast, belonging to Agribusiness Holding Miratorg.
The complex is equipped with modern thermal, dosing and packaging equipment. This expands the assortment and allows for a flexible response to changes in consumer preferences. Work processes at the plant are fully automated. This minimizes manual labor and human influence. To keep food piping and equipment clean, a CIP wash is used, thanks to that pipes and cooking boilers are washed automatically. This helps to flush the equipment properly and efficiently and ensure products are safe and have a long shelf life without preservatives. Frozen products are stored from six months to a year, chilled ones – from 30 to 45 days.
The plant is constantly expanding the assortment and geography of products supply, both in Russia and for export. 400 jobs were created at the launch of the plant. The modernization of the plant has provided 26 extra jobs.
