Miratorg invests more than 532 million rubles in a new pig production farm in Kursk region

  Belgorod, June 7th  – ABH  Miratorg , the biggest investor in  the  country’s agribusiness sector, informs on  launching of  “Merkulovka-2” pig  nursery and finishing  farm in Pristenskiy district of Kursk region.

Miratorg, the pork producer No 1 in Russia, have been increasing investments in construction of new pig farms and facilities in the region. The total sum of investments exceeds  13 billion rubles. In April 2017 Miratorg signed an agreement with Alexander Mikhailov, the Governor of Kursk region, under which investment in the region in 2017 will amount to 11 billion rubles.  In line with the agreement Miratorg is to put into operation a new irrigation system in Sudjanskiy district  with a capacity of 428 ha, a new reproduction area  for 800  head in Oboyanskiy district  and o two new pig nursery  and finishing   farms  in Pristenskiy district.

The first of these farms- “Merkulovka-2” is already started up – its stocking took place in May. The complex is equipped with the   modern high –tech equipment for feeding animals and the microclimate creation system. The farm will supply 54 thousand salable head a year. Investment in its construction amounted to 532,8 million rubles.

“Realization of the enterprises development   in Kursk region has been carried out in accordance with the previously indicated plan.  Start-up of the new finishing farm is another successfully executed stage of this plan”, the ABH “Miratorg” Press Service says.
