Miratorg invests over 12 billion rubles to build new cattle farms in Bryansk, Kaluga, Tula, Kaliningrad regions in 201
Bryansk , March 28 – ABH Miratorg , Russia’s biggest beef producer , allocates over 12 billion rubles for construction of new cattle farms in Bryansk, Kaluga, Tula, Kaliningrad regions in 2018 increasing their total number number to 99.
Miratorg builds from the scratch vertically integrated production of high quality beef “from filed to fork” with a total herd of 500 thousand Aberdeen Angus breed. The company continues the construction of new animal raising facilities within the frameworks of the interregional project to increase the cattle herd up to 1 million head by 20124.
The project is based on the-hi tech farms. The main stages of the high quality beef production are implemented on the farms with allowances made for the high standards of veterinary control and biosafety: herd reproduction in the “cow/calf” cycle, raising the young stock and fattening the marketable stock till the standard weight for further transfer to the grain fattening facilities.
“The construction of new animal raising complexes and development of territories is directly connected with the planned herd growth. This year we plan to get over 192 thousand new-born calves which is a 15% increase to the previous year figure. Setting new facilities also means improvement of agricultural lands and the creation of new jobs for local population with decent salaries and social guarantees”, the Miratorg Press Service says.
