Miratorg produces 1 841 of rose veal in the Q1 2018

Kursk, April 16th - Miratog, Russia's major beef producer, produces 1 841 tons of rose veal in live weight  in January-March 2018. 

Miratorg's infrastructure project for raising of dairy cattle livestock is the only industrial-scale producer of rose veal in Russia. The project was launched in January 2017 on the basis of Blagodatnenskaya dairy farm and produced 2 486 tons of rose  veal last year.

There herd of  calves exceeds 19 000  heads and has been increasing as the company receive livestock from its own dairy farm and also buying it from the farmers of 22 Russia regions.  Dairy calves are delivered to the farm at the age of 3 days and are fed in accordance with a special diet to guarantee a high quality product with a natural pink color, Only natural feeds with no hormones and growth stimulants used to feed the calves. 

 “ We see the growing demand for this type of products, and plan to increase the production volume up to 7 800 tons in 2018 , as well as  consider the possibility to launch  2 more rose veal production farms in the next several  years”, the Agribusiness Holding Press Service says.
