Miratorg’s production site in Kursk Oblast was certified according to the latest version of the international food safety standard

The meat processing complex of Agribusiness Holding Miratorg in Kursk Oblast has passed through audit for compliance with the strictest requirements of the latest version of the international food safety standard FSSC (Food Safety System Certification). The certificate proves that the company has implemented the highest safety and quality control requirements for its products.
The quality management system at the production facility complies with the parameters accepted by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The latest version number 5.1 of FSSC 22000 standard includes ISO 22000:2018, ISO/TS 22002.1:2009 and industry specifications “Prerequisite programs”.
The facility’s food safety system monitors the entire chain – from raw materials and auxiliary materials to the packaging of finished products. This allows assuring the consumer that the product is safe and excludes any other deviations in the production process whether it is foreign inclusions, temperature conditions, or microbiological indicators.
The complex in Kursk Oblast is equipped with the most up-to-date machinery and has no analogues in Russia. Production facilities are aligned with the technological process, not allowing for the contact between the finished product and raw materials. One gallery for communication between shops and movement of employees in the new plant is 3,000 square meters and the total area is 117 hectares. This is more than twice the area of the Vatican. The most labor-intensive operations are performed by robots. Manual labor is minimized, reducing the influence of the human factor on product quality.
The product nomenclature includes items obtained at all stages of production: from primary processing to semi-finished meat products and sausage products.
Meat products in Miratorg are made of pork, beef and chicken from own farms. The products are made according to GOST and Miratorg’s own specifications, they expand the range of products, as they can contain spices other than prescribed in GOST, while the meat component of the products remains the same. Such sausages have a reduced salt content. This is important for people who monitor their diet. Marbled beef makes meat flavor of products more intensive. Barrier packaging prevents contact with the air, and deep pasteurization technology provides long shelf life without preservatives.
In addition to production, all logistics are automated. The company’s own logistics center is located in close proximity, it is equipped with the most up-to-date warehousing equipment with electronic traceability technology to ensure the freshness and safety of products not only at the output stage but also during storing.
Investments in the meat processing complex project amounted to 70.86 billion rubles. The enterprise provides 4,800 jobs.
The production takes into account the latest trends for processing plants in energy efficiency and eco-friendliness. The company invested about a billion rubles in treatment facilities.
