Miratorg’s registries “Braynsk fellow” burger trade mark
Moscow, April, 11 –Miratorg, Russia largest beef producer in Russia, registries “Braynsk fellow” burger trade mark to protect the most popular meal of “#FARSH” restaurant-chain.
Miratorg has been increasing the supply of high-quality Black Angus beef to hotels, restaurants and catering segment Russian market and promotes the new culture of meat consumption. The chain of restaurants-burgershops “#FARSH”, established in 2015, includes 14 spots in Moscow, Moscow region and Saint-Petersburg and is one of the widely known leaders in this segment.
Holding takes a stand in favor of fair competition and intellectual property protection, which are especially essential for the restaurant market where bright and recognizable brand the clients trust, is the key to success.
The Center for the Protection of Intellectual Property of the company, established in 2017, applied to the Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property, commonly known as Rospatent, to register the trademark “Braynsk fellow” but the application was denied. Miratorg lawyers challenged the decision in the Chamber for Patent Disputes. The Collegium of the Chamber for Patent Disputes, having examined the company’s arguments, came to the conclusion that there were no grounds to deny the registration of the trademark. Therefore, the decision of Rospatent was canceled and the trademark was registered.
