Miratorg will invest 3.8 billion rubles in a new wholesale distribution center in the Belgorod Region
Saint Petersburg, June, 16 – Miratorg, the leading operator of Russian food market and the Belgorod Region inform that they have concluded an investment agreement in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, providing the investments of 3.8 billion rubles in a new wholesale distribution center with a capacity of 30 thousand pallet positions.
Miratorg plans to build a complex for freezing, storage and shipping of meat products in Korocha District, in the territory of CJSC “SK Korocha”. The project includes two main processes: accepting and shipping frozen and chilled meat products from production sites of ABH Miratorg and their shelf storage at low-temperatures. The start of set-up operations and the launch of the wholesale distribution center are planned in the 4th quarter, 2023.
The project will allow optimizing the logistics supply chain of high quality meat products of deep production: meat semi-finished products made of pork, beef and chicken. The project realization will allow stopping additional product transportation. 138 jobs in agricultural sector will be created in Belgorod Region. In 2024 tax transfers to the budgets of all levels from the project will amount to about 160 million rubles and will increase while achieving a full production capacity of the wholesale distribution center.
The agribusiness holding created more than 9 thousand jobs in Belgorod Region, the company has in plans increasing the personnel up to 10 thousand people. Almost 900 million rubles of taxes were paid to the regional budget and more than 5 billion rubles to the budgets of all levels.
